Jeans : A luxury or a necessity ?

Firstly designed for miners and cowboys, blue jeans made their first appearance in the late 19th century. The never seen before garment was an idea born through a collaboration between Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss(Levi's) following a request to make trousers that wouldn't fall apart.
''That year, two visionary immigrants — Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis — turned denim, thread and a little metal into what has become the most popular apparel on earth'', is quoted on the Levi's official website.
Decades later teenagers made the first step to turning the men's work wear into a fashion for all by adopting the style and we have to admit 'Grease' definitely helped its promotion.
Today, in the 21st century jeans have evolved and are sold by the world's most famous brands. They can now be bought in a variety of styles , colours and lengths enriching each individual's personality, body and most importantly style.
Styling the denim trousers can either be a piece of cake or a real life nightmare but what you can definitely take for granted is that there are thousands of ways to do it and once you get it right the result will be a feast for the eyes.
