As a self-called 'child of the sun' I live for the Summer and the memories, experiences and lessons that come with it.

Despite the fact that our reasons might vary, waiting for the Summer is a phase we definitely all go through (even just for a split second- admit it!)

Work experience, placements and internships are all fun and exciting until you take into consideration the 35-40 degrees the thermometer hits on a daily basis.

Keeping that not so tiny detail in mind, finding outfits which meet the appropriate-for-work length, will make the heatwave bearable and still allow you to look stylish is hard.

Go for everything Midi. Skirts make a great garment choice along with culottes and dresses. In addition, wear pieces produced in light fabrics.

Keep in mind the first impression as even though we all hate to admit it, it's when we make up our minds about someone and the relationship and attitude we will hold towards them in the future.

Don't let the heat be an obstacle and make the most out of your Summer working days as they have a lot to offer in return of your sacrifice of careless and beach days.

P.S : I would suggest keeping an *emergency-case* swimsuit in the car for the days when the only protection from the heatwave is to head to the nearest beach .
