May(be)- a confused month's necessities.
With deadlines either approaching or already done with, this month is equal to mixed feelings and a lot of confusion.
At this point, allow me to state that I solely have deadlines to blame for Her Fashion Column's month of silence. BUT with my final hand-in set for yesterday, I am officially a free bird.
Right when you thought that your Summer wardrobe's shopping could be pushed back for a bit, England has been copying Cyprus' thermometer target.
Understanding that proceeding to the famous-to-all 'wardrobe swap' might not be the best idea yet due to the perfect co-existence of heatwaves and (of course) rainy days, read along for some tips that will hopefully prepare you for the unpredictable days ahead.
Since you already have your heavy coats and knitwear backing you up for the cold days( layering is definitely not over yet), I would suggest investing in:
a)Oversized denim shorts
b)Linen palazzo trousers
c)A light boyfriend denim jacket
and finally, footwear-wise (drum roll)... You don't need to trade your military boots quite yet ! ( but just in case, get some 24/7 converse or vans).
