The greatest tragedy of them all, is the fact that we think that we are the ones killing the earth and not the earth killing us in the near future.
Facebook, Instagram, Websites and television are filled with headlines surrounding Global Warming and the unfortunate effects our ''YOLO''-lead behaviour has had on Earth. One person trying to save the situation is not enough, and change from all must happen when time requires it.
With Polar Bears on the edge of loosing their homes and heatwaves recording records, the time has come for us to wake up and act. Beach clean-ups, plastic-free lives and Reuse-Reduce-Recycle are easy enough for everyone to follow.
Ever wondered how shopping from local shops, using e-tickets and even sharing the shower can help the environment? Going local reduces transportation emissions, e-tickets reduce paper while sharing the shower reduces water and for some, is more enjoyable.
There are many ways for one to start acting Green that require minimum effort, like separating paper from plastic and trading plastic shopping bags for reusable ones.
Reusable bags: They are washable, colourful and even stylish! I recently bought the following net bag from H&M and I would confidently give it 4/5 stars. P.s: Don't be fooled by its current size as it lengthens once you put stuff in it.
